About Marissa

Marissa Luna is a creative and forward-thinking marketer who has developed over 150 multimedia projects across a variety of industries. Whether it’s spearheading a major rebranding project or strategically increasing the reach of social media content via paid campaigns, she leverages her creative problem-solving and strategic marketing skills to expand the reach of law firms across the country.

Marissa graduated from the University of Houston with a Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations, developing a skillset that includes graphic design, brand development, email marketing, social media marketing, media relations, and more. During school, she served as a public relations and digital marketing intern for multiple local Houston businesses. After graduation, she worked as the digital marketing manager for the leading provider of professional parking management services in the country before joining the team at Stacey E. Burke, P.C., where she was an immediate fit.

In her work as a Marketing Coordinator, she spends her days manipulating the content, images, and metadata on law firm websites for optimal search engine success, engaging in proprietary audience building strategies across a variety of social media channels, and determining the ideal demographic to whom a social post should be targeted. Her work spans legal industry practice areas including personal injury, family law, criminal defense, commercial litigation, insurance coverage, and more.

Outside of work, Marissa is an ambassador for Magpies & Peacocks, a 501(c)(3) non-profit design house dedicated to disrupting the cycle of waste in the fashion industry and mitigating its environmental and social impact. She also enjoys roller-skating around Houston parks and spending time with her loyal pup, Roux.
